What is Tapping Therapy?

Tapping therapy works with emotions, energy and memories. Emotions are energy!  We feel emotions in our bodies and suppress them when we don’t know how to express them. If we become bad at expressing our emotions we turn to self harming behaviours such as excessive alcohol, drugs, risky behaviour, and burying ourselves in unfufilling relationships and work!  Tapping therapy recognises that if we release emotions and memories then we become mentally and physically healthier.

How do I meet with you?

I can offer sessions face to face (in Coffs Harbour), via the phone and via Skype (free internet calling).

Most people are use to meeting with a counsellor face to face, however from my experience, people who use phone counselling love it because it can provide a space and a certain freedom and make it easier to talk about how you really feel about a situation. Skype calling can be just as liberating as you have the option to either use a webcam or not.

I am located at the Coffs Professional Centre – Level 1 / 9 Park Avenue Coffs Harbour, NSW, Australia

What are your opening hours?

I can offer face to face sessions and some Skype sessions between 9:30 to 6pm Tuesday through to Thursday.

I can offer Skype and phone sessions outside of normal business hours on all week days by arrangement and on the weekend.

Do you give talks to groups? Yes, I love speaking to groups! I can give talks on topics related to, but not limited to:

  • How to create and achieve inspirational goals,
  • How to Create a Peaceful Family Life,
  • How to Reduce your Stress,
  • Sustainable Healthcare using simple techniques and
  • Understanding the Effect of Energy in your life and business.

How are you different from other life coaches and holistic practitioners?

In a nutshell, I am empathetic, patient and non-judgemental, which means that you will feel completely comfortable working with us.  Also, because I am skilled in so many different modalities, there is rarely an issue that I don’t have an approach to help you with.

I am afraid of change, how can you convince me to take action? 

The fact that you are here at this website is a wonderful step, and you are not nearly as afraid of change as you might think!  I know that sometimes people feel, ‘its better the devil you know’.  I’d like to ask you this though, ‘What happens to you if you don’t make positive changes?’  The answer is that a change will still occur, but it’s likely to be a negative change.  So the very change that you’re afraid of is going to happen anyway, but will create more problems.

It’s okay to be afraid, but it’s also okay to take that first step in the right direction.  I will be here to support, encourage and congratulate you when you do!

What do you most want to be known for?

I want to be known for making a positive difference to people’s lives.  Empowering people to get past the problems that hold them back (we all have problems, but very few of us work through them to get to greener pastures).  I also want people to leave our time together feeling lighter, as though you have left your emotional baggage behind.  I want you to be so happy with your results that you are proud to refer my on to your friends and family.

You say that you have empathy.  What have you actually been through?

I will always be completely real about who I am and where I’ve come from.  I don’t profess to having the perfect life.  I understand what it’s like to have problems such as:  depression, parenting woes, perfectionism, a harsh inner-critic, a feeling of being lost and unhappy in my relationship and career.  The fact that I am open and honest about my journey out of my previous life of stress, anxiety and unhappiness makes me even more skilled at helping you with yours.  The difference with me is that even though I still come up against challenges, I always work through them to achieve positive outcomes.  I know the solutions because I ’ve had the problems.  My understanding and empathy is the key to your success.
